  IMPORTANCE OF GROUPS LITURGICAL COMMISSION
           

The Catholic Church is fundamentally liturgical and sacramental in its public life of worship.

The Parish Liturgical Commission basis its pastoral work on the above mentioned principles, the Commission members are constantly involved in the coordination of church liturgical services and church celebrations. This is made possible through the commitment and dedication of a sizable number of helpers.

Involvement:

  1. Spreading of the Holy Word by trained readers during masses.
  2. Administration of Holy Communion in church and in the homes of sick    people by appointed Ministers of the Eucharist .
  3. Organisation of prayer meetings (Adoration) every 1st Friday of the month.
  4. Organisation of a daily roster for helpers to say the Holy Rosary in church.
  5. Prayers and Music Animation during Masses by Mass Animators and Cantors.
  6. Organisation of Church Liturgical services during Christmas, Easter and the  January / August feasts of St. Julian’s.
  7. Provision of liturgical service by alter-boys and alter-girls during masses and church functions.
  8. Drafting Procession routes and coordinating the Processions.
  9. Organisation of the Lenten Sermons.
  10. Organisation of Spiritual Retreats for Pastoral Operators.
