Fr Claude Portelli (Parish Priest) who hails from Sliema was born on 6th August 1975. He is the eldest of four siblings. He was educated at St Edward’s College Cottonera and the University of Malta. Fr Claude was ordained a priest on 28th July 2002. He served at Ghaxaq Parish for the first year of his priesthood. In July 2003 Fr Claude was sent to serve at St Julians Parish as its vice parish priest. On 21 July 2009 Archbishop Paul Cremona officially installed Fr Claude as Parish Priest of St Julians
Mons Joseph Busuttil was born in St Julians on 6th November 1935. He is a retired Professor of Classics. He was ordained a priest on 7th April 1962. He now gives his service at the Archbishop’s Curia in the Archives section. Fr Busuttil still celebrates mass daily at the parish.
Fr Karm Calleja was born in Birkirkara on 4th August 1927. He forms part of the Collegiate Chapter of St Helen’s Basilica Birkirkara where he also serves in the weekends. Dun Karm, as he is popularly known was ordained a priest on 2nd August 1953. Fr Calleja has been very active pastorally at St Julians parish ever since his ordination. He currently celebrates mass daily at St Julians Parish church.
Mons John Galea was born on 26th February 1937. He was ordained a priest on the 7th April 1962. He served as a parish priest at St Julians Parish. He was also the Director of the St Julians Choir until 2000. Dun Gwann as he is commonly known is currently the director of the Catholic Institute Floriana and during the summer months he is busy directing the music during the village feasts liturgical celebrations. He is also rector of the Selmun chapel. Dun Gwann celebrates mass daily (Mon-Fri) at St Julians Parish Church.
